Have a Fruit-tea Time! 30 March

Learn more about different types of fruit and tea pairings from Chef Eric Low, or see how tea can be incorporated in fruity foods such as tarts or jam! This workshop is part of the offerings for Singapore Heritage Festival 2019, and Wanderland, happening from 29 to 31 March 2019 at the Asian Civilisations Museum.

Teas brought to you by Dilmah. The workshop is suitable for children aged 7 and above. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Strictly no exceptions will be made.

About Chef Eric Low

LUSH Epicurean Culinary Consultancy

Chef Eric Low has more than 30 years of culinary experience and has curated bespoke menus for Rolls Royce’s private events and managed kitchens on superyachts. He is no stranger to tea culture, being deeply immersed in his Teochew heritage and its Kung Fu tea ceremony, and having travelled extensively to Japan, India, and the Middle East, gaining a deeper appreciation of teas.

Championing Teochew cuisine, three of his cookbooks were listed in the Gourmand International Cookbook Global and National Awards Winners in 2015 and 2016. He has appeared on Channel News Asia, Channel 8, and the BBC to share his culinary knowledge. As a testament to his skills, Chef Eric has won awards at culinary competitions including FHA Singapore and World Gourmet Summit.

1. Do I need any experience to join this workshop?

No experience is needed! This workshop is suitable for beginners and children age 7 and above.

2. What is Wanderland all about?

Wander and wonder through ACM (Asian Civilisations Museum)'s first fruit market, and have a cup of bubble tea on us!* Participate in a puppet performance, watch fusion music performed right in our galleries, or decorate your own kite for a community art installation. Create your own wanderland - this weekend only. Don't sleep!

3. Why do we have to put down a refundable deposit of $10/pax?

As the workshop spaces are highly limited, this is to ensure that the instructor and facilitators' times are fully utilized. The deposit will be refunded 24 hours after the event.
